We provide our members and students networking opportunities with professionals, educative Coffee and Conservation webinars, and in person events to stay up to date with latest trends. Members get to earn Professional Development Hours that are required for Professional Designations and certifications.

Furthermore, we provide volunteer opportunities, and the ability to receive awards for work done in Sustainability, Energy and Emissions Management.

*NEW* to the AEEGTA, as of 2024 we are now offering our members the following:

• Mentorship Program (NEW)

  The Mentorship Program allows experienced members to meet aspiring younger professionals, share their knowledge and offer service of 1-2 hours per month as a Mentor. The mentorship program will also allow for Mentors to collaborate with Mentees, younger members, seeking advice and professional growth

• Sponsorship to AEE events held internationally*.
• Professional Development contribution amounts towards CIET certifications*. (NEW)
• Obtain Professional Development Hours (PDH)* required for professional licenses and certification renewals. (75% attendance time required to earn the PDH)
• Premium networking opportunities with a wide range of professionals from attending our events.
• Education and career development opportunities from our numerous industry speakers and presentations held throughout the year.
• Volunteer opportunities to support the board of directors implement new initiatives, such as creating relevant blog or newsletter content.
• Members are eligible to obtain additional discounts for attending AEEGTA chapter sponsored events (up to 50% discount).
• Ability to run for board of director positions, other committees, and eligibility to vote in chapter elections.
